February is National Heart Health Month, and since Pinot Noir and dark chocolate share very high levels of heart-healthy antioxidants, our Valentine's Day tastings will feature Whitecliff's estate bottled Pinot Noir with wonderful organic Fair Trade truffles made locally in New Paltz by Lagusta's Luscious.
We will also include our estate bottled Champagne
in tastings all weekend. Our champagne is produced according to
traditional French methods, estate bottled from our own Chardonnay
grapes, with a secondary fermentation in the bottle and sur lees aging.

Why Pinot Noir? Resveratrol is one of the most significant antioxidants to human health. Pinot Noir has been shown regularly to produce more resveratrol than other grape varieties, and wines produced in New York average double the levels of resveratrol from those of other parts of the world because of our cool, damp climate. So while that California Cabernet may have less than 2 units of resveratrol, New York Pinots test at over 13 units.

Join our winemaker, for the second year of this tasting event, as he goes fishing for you. This year he will prepare Fish Tacos from the Rainbow trout caught at Ron Koniz's
Fishing Preserve and Finger Lakes Free Range
Farm in the Finger Lakes. Sample your tacos with adiverse selection of 6 of our white wines.
PRICE: $14 per person for tickets purchased in advance, $16 at the door.
This tasting event will be available all day, from 11:30 to 5pm.
