Beginning Machine Sewing
In this one-session machine sewing class for beginners, you'll learn the basics of how a sewing machine works and make a reusable tote bag from reuse materials. This popular class is offered to teens and adults. The class will be held twice:
~ Saturday, July 12, 1 - 3 pm
~ Wednesday, July 23, 7 - 9 pm

ReFashion workshop
Bring in a garment you'd like to make over, restyle, or just make fit better. We'll provide hands-on help and advice. Some sewing experience is requested. Bring your own machine or use one of ours. Beach Party! Summer Sewing Series
Learn to sew on a machine, or brush up on your skills. We'll make a drawstring tote bag/backpack, a pair of shorts, and a summer top. For teens and adults. Guys, everything can be made for men, too.

MEET YOUR MACHINE workshop
Bring in your older or vintage sewing machine (made in the 1970s or earlier) and learn more about using and caring for it. We'll go over the basics of how a sewing machine works and advise you on threading, bobbin winding, tension adjustment, and care of the machine. Cost is $15 for one person with one machine.
