After-School Teen Apprenticeships
SewGreen offers free sewing and fashion design apprenticeships to eligible teens. The apprenticeships are available on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday afternoons during the school year. Teens must apply and be accepted by the program leaders, who look for commitment and a strong interest in creativity and learning. Any teen with a passion for fashion is welcome to apply, and we especially welcome referrals from agencies that work with lower-income or at-risk youth. Apprenticeships start the last week in September. For more information, contact Autumn Newell, youthcoord@sew-green.org.
