Summer Dance Camp 2010

Please join us for Summer Dance Camp 2010! The Ballet Guild of Ithaca brings more than 28 years of experience to training dancers in our annual Summer Day Camp for dancers from 8 to 18 years old.

Summer camp dancers receive three to four classes a day in dance technique, including daily ballet class and daily pointe technique (where applicable), and modern and jazz class three days a week. In addition, campers take character dance, stretch, conditioning and composition class, in which students learn to create their own choreography. Advanced dancers also learn variations from the Classical Repertoire.

Our training provides a solid foundation in correct, classical ballet, combined with modern and jazz for added strength, versatility and freedom of movement.

Dancers do not need prior ballet experience to attend. Class placement will be made on the first day of camp.
