Winery Tour
Add a dimension to your visit to Hunt Country with an enjoyable and informative tour of our winemaking operations! You'll see up-close the equipment and facilities that we use to make outstanding wines. We describe the winemaking process in simple terms, and are always happy to answer your questions.
We offer this 30-minute walking tour every day, year round. On weekends, our enthusiastic guides conduct tours every hour on the hour, beginning at 11am on Saturdays and 1pm on Sundays; the final tour of each day leaves the Tasting Room one hour before closing. On weekdays, tours are given upon request. There is no minimum group size (on quieter days we often lead couples), and our usual maximum is 20 persons, to ensure everyone can easily hear our guide. Winery Tours are $2.50 per person (children 12 and under $1.00). For groups 10 or larger, kindly call us in advance (800.946.3289 and ask for John, Jim or Jackie) to reserve your tour.
Vineyard Tour (Haywagon ride)
Ride our hay-wagon through 50 beautiful acres of vineyards, savor the commanding view of the beautiful Keuka Lake valley, and enjoy a brief sketch of our family farm, the grape types and how we manage the vineyards to produce the outstanding cool-climate grapes. The tour lasts 30 to 40 minutes, depending on the time to load everyone into the wagon! The minimum party is 10 persons; the maximum per trip is about 25. (We often accomodate large parties by making 2 trips, each with half the group). The charge is $5.00 per person. Vineyard tours are by advance reservation only. Please call us at 800.946.3289 at least 2 weeks in advance to reserve and prepay your tour. In case of inclement weather on the day, we are happy to offer instead a Winery Tour, or to provide a refund. Don't miss the opportunity for a uniquely fun and informative ride!
