Tasting Through Time: History of Drinking in the Finger Lakes

Drink, be merry, and learn something too!  Experience a drinking tour through time as we explore the Cayuga Wine Trail with a historical twist.  On this tour, you will taste your way through the centuries; drinking and learning about the various "fermented favorites fancied in the Finger Lakes".  Experience hard ciders, port and sherry, champagnes, and various wines that demonstrate the evolution of wine-making in the Finger Lakes.  

This tour includes tastings at one cidery and three wineries.   Each stop will be a glimpse into a different  part of Finger Lakes history, with food-wine parings that are carefully chosen to reflect the rage of the 18th, 19th, 20th and 21st centuries!  As with all our tours, snacks are always on board, and special surprises and amenities pop up along the way.

This is a perfect tour for first timers to the region, as well as those who have toured with us previously and are returning for the next great adventure!

A note to our guests:  Saturdays on the Cayuga Wine Trail are the busiest days of the week.  If you are looking for a more intimate experience of the wineries we suggest considering a Friday, Sunday or Monday for your wine trail experience if your schedule allows.
